Big Day Off Winner
Just before this photo was taken, Lynn Callaghan, who works with the Lennox Partnership in Clydebank Business Park, was a bit annoyed as she had to come back to work promptly from her lunch hour when everyone else got to stay out a little bit longer. She soon cheered up though, as she found out that she had won a weeks holiday for two in Santa Ponsa, Majorca from Barrhead Travel as part of The Big Day Off with Eden! Water Babies
Thank you to everyone who took part in Glasgow Culture and Sport’s Water Baby competition. The winners were:

Car Raffle
Jo Ann Donnelly was the proud owner of a brand new Suzuki Swift, thanks to Phoenix Suzuki. Her name was on the winning square from the thousands on all the game grids that were sold all over Glasgow and the West at ASDA stores, Buchanan Galleries, the St. Enoch Centre and East Kilbride Shopping Centre. Thanks to everyone that took part.

Kids Class Post
Kids Class Post was where teachers tried their hand at being posties — delivering Christmas cards to their classes for a small donation to Cash for Kids.
Well done to Cathkin Community Nursery, the winners of our prize draw! The children will soon be treated to a visit from Pace Theatre company and two of the staff had a great night at the Cash for Kids Ball on the 16th December.
Congratulations also to the Kids at St. Convals Primary School in Glasgow, who’ll soon be off for an exclusive VIP tour of the Royal Mail Centre and to their teacher turned postie who enjoyed the Cash for Kids Ball too!
Above and Below!
September 2007 saw the first abseil down Scotland’s tallest free standing structure, the Glasgow Tower at Glasgow Science Centre. First man down was Clyde 2’s James Pllu, pictured being supported by Spiderman!
Loch Fyne was the venue for another record breaking sponsored dive by the Atlantic Divers. In teams of two, they were continuously underwater for twenty seven hours!
Golf Day
Teed off? That’s what Culture and Sport Glasgow were when they their second Cash for Kids Golf Day at Bishopbriggs Golf Club and raised £2,500.
Firm Supporters
The Celtic Charity Fund has organized a special seven-week charity collection and raised £10,000 for Cash for Kids.
The Rangers Charity Foundation has been a regular supporter of Cash for Kids too, organizing match day collections and items for auction. This year they have donated £10,000 from the recent Nine In A Row charity match.
Hamilton Park Racecourse
Hamilton Park Racecourse has chosen Cash for Kids to benefit from their charity race meeting on Wednesday 11th June next year.
It’s the highlight of their horse racing social calendar and their Chief Executive Alastair Warwick says “Our charity night has always been a massive occasion for Scottish Horse Racing and the local area and we now have a chance to work with a great charity and take the event to a new level.
Endurance Race
Thanks to all the teams who took part in this year’s Scotkart Endurance Race and helped raise £7,125
The winners of the Amateur Race were “Catch Us If You Can”, with Michael Doyle Racing coming first in the pro race.
The Radio Clyde Team came in last as is traditional, due to a combination of injury, disqualification and not realising that their lap had started.
